Fingerprinting Real Estate Agents in Texas

There is a new rule requiring the fingerprinting of Real Estate Agents in Texas, however, this is not being done the the Department of Public Safety, but rather it is being carried out by a third party company for a fee. Why is Texas NOT using its own trained personnel to do this when the fingerprints have to be turned over to the DPS ANYWAY in order to be processed to the F. B. I.? Looks like another effort to make a little money from something where there should be an easier way AND this puts the fingerprints in the hands of some contractor who now has access to things that he should never even see! Your thoughts?

Also, interesting point; if the DPS already HAS your thumb print (cause you got a Texas Driver’s License) then WHY does ANYTHING have to be done? Hmmmmmmmmmmm?

    Google search …
Google search SRC-CAS H.B. 1530 80R for specifics on the Bill. Wayne.

    I did the same …
I did the same thing for my CHL. I made an appointment with IBT after obtaining a FAST Print Pass. The charges depend on what the fingerprints are for. In my case, it was only $15. I believe it is now a law in Texas (HB 1530), a least for real estate. Thanks for the informative video, wiiibur. Wayne
